New Features
Service Fee on Assignments. When a paid assignment is offered to a contributor, the payment amount is reserved from the Content Development Fund. Skyword now charges a 10% fee that is taken from the contributor's rate. How much is charged to the Fund, and the amount the contributor will receive, are displayed to the reviewer before they offer the assignment.
If an assignment is cancelled before payment is awarded, Skyword's fee is returned to the Content Development Fund along with the rest of the payment.
On a client-by-client and contributor-by-contributor basis, there may be exceptions to this fee structure. These are negotiated between Clients and Services leadership, and implemented by the Product Management team. In these cases, the fee can be applied on top of the Payment Rate so that it is visible to the issuer but not the contributor.
Service Fee on Requests for Proposals. When a contributor submits a bid during the RFP process, Skyword automatically places a 10% fee on the amount and then rounds up to the nearest $50. For example, if a contributor submits a bid for $2400, the reviewer will see a bid for $2650.
Service Fee on One-Time Payments. When a one-time payment is issued, Skyword charges a 10% fee that is taken from contributor's rate. This fee, and the amount the contributor will receive, are displayed to the reviewer before they issue the payment.
As with the fee on assignments, this fee may have exceptions negotiated between Clients and Services leadership.

Set Publish Dates. Users can now set Publish Dates when issuing and editing assignments. When a Publish Date is set and an Integration is configured for the Content Type, assignments will not send until the Publish Date.
