Summary
We’ve redesigned the Create workflow in Accelerator360 to make it easier than ever to start an assignment, generate or write its brief, and issue it to a freelance contributor.
Improvements to existing features
Create Process Reimagined. When users select the Create icon, they will now see a list of the channel’s Draft and Pending assignments on the left-hand side and options to create a new assignment on the right.
Creating a new assignment will instantly add it to the left-hand list and open up the details view on the right. Users are no longer required to add high level details (e.g. Purpose, Audience), select a keyword, or generate the assignment brief with AI though all these features are still available to them. Title and Assignment Brief are still required to open the assignment to a contributor or team member.
When issuing assignments through the RFP process, users can select the Add to RFP Cart option and each assignment added to the cart is flagged with an icon. They can then select the Create RFP for X Assignments in the top-right corner. Then the process of issuing an RFP is the same experience as it was before.
If users want to create several assignments at once, similar to the old Acceleration method, they can still do so through the Create Bulk with SEO Keywords option.
Finally, if users have assignments they are creating for submission, they can access those by selecting the My Assignments button in the top-right corner.
New Features
Contributors can submit Late assignments. When the submission deadline is passed, contributors now have the ability to submit content; previously they were locked out and a reviewer would need to update the deadline in order for the contributor to submit. With this change, both the contributor and the issuer receive an email notification when the deadline has passed. The issuer has the ability to rescind the assignment, taking it away from the contributor, if deemed necessary.
Issuer informed of declined assignments. When a contributor is offered an assignment, they have the option to decline it. If this occurs, the issuer of the assignment now receives an email notification, so they can quickly find a new contributor with the capacity to do the work.
