Summary
Adds AI Copyediting functionality and controls.
New Features
Copy Edit with AI. When reviewing submitted content, users will now see a Copy Edit button in the Content Details section on the left-hand side. Selecting it prompts AI to generate a new version that adheres to the channel’s style guide. Once generated, users will review a side-by-side comparison of the initial version and the new version with AI edits; they can either accept or reject the changes.
Configure Copy Edit Parameters. The Copy Edit feature is tied to two settings in the Channel — Brand Style Guide and Brand Style Guide Exceptions. Both of these can be updated by navigating to Configure - Overview - General Info.
- Brand Style Guide is a drop-down list of widely accepted style guides; it is currently limited to AP, Chicago, and APA (with AP being selected by default.)
- Brand Style Guide Exceptions is a freeform field that accepts a list of differences between the selected style guide and the client’s requirements. For example, AP style states that dates be written as “Jan. 1” but client guidelines expect them to be written as “January 1st”.
Bug fixes
Messages failed to trigger emails. In some instances, users were not receiving email notifications when a message was sent. This has been addressed, and users now receive an email for each message sent through the platform.
