You can work with your Skyword representative to create custom templates for each of your channel's Original Content Types in Accelerator360. When customizing a template, you can choose to enable several different fields, change the order of these fields, and require contributors to enter certain information in order for your templates to meet your content creation needs.
Configurable Field Types
- Title: a single line of text field that is inherent in every template.
- Content Body: a Rich Text field that is inherent in all Text content type formats.
- Single Line of Text: a short, plain text field.
- Plain Text Editor: a field that allows for multiple lines of text. Does not include formatting options.
- Rich Text Editor: a multiple lines of text field that allows for extensive formatting.
- Single-Select: a field that allows you to make a single selection from a pre-defined Item Catalog (aka a pick list). Learn more about Item Catalogs here.
- Multi-Select: a field that allows you to make a single selection from a pre-defined Item Catalog.
- Attachment: a field that allows you to attach media. Each attachment field is tied to a single media type. Attachment fields support Images, PDFs, Word Docs, Videos, Audio Files, Excel Spreadsheets or Powerpoints.
- Date/ Time: a field that allows you to enter a date and time.
- Instructional: a field that will display read-only text.
Field Configuration Options
You can further customize the configuration of your template at the field level. Below is a list of customization options and their corresponding description.
- Display Name*: the name the field will display to the user in the template.
- Required: choose whether the field is required or optional.
- Helper Text: read-only, instructional text.
- Character Limit: number of characters allowed in a field, Text fields only.
- Media Type (Attachment fields only)*: Image, PDF, Word Doc, etc. *note that each media type will require a separate field. I.e. you cannot have one Attachment field that allows for a user to upload a PDF or a Word doc.
- Number of Attachments (Attachment fields only*): number of attachments required for a field.
- Item Catalog (Single-Select & Multi-Select only)*: pick list of options used in Single-Select and Multi-Select fields.
- Placeholder: text that will be displayed in a field if it has not yet been filled out.
*Indicates that an input is required for that field customization option.
