Messages provide channel users with a direct line of communication with contributors within Accelerator360. By using the Messages feature you can consolidate all of your communication in-app as opposed to keeping tabs of conversations in your email inbox.
Messages can be sent at the assignment/ proposal level or at the contributor level via Contributor Lists along all stages of your content production workflow.
How Messages Work
Messages will, by default, start as a 1:1 communication between the contributor and a channel user (unless an Email Distribution List has been configured).
- If a channel user sends a message it will be between that user and the contributor.
- If a contributor sends a message it will be between that contributor and the channel user who created the assignment or proposal.
If a channel user clicks into Messages in an assignment they will be able to see any thread that has been started. If they respond to the thread, they will be included in that communication going forward and will be notified via email of new messages.
To review and respond to your message threads, you can either select Inbox in the left-hand navigation or locate the assignment via the Content Library and select Messages.
