Accelerator360™ categorizes content into a number of different content states depending on its current place in the production workflow. When content is moved along in the production workflow it will trigger a platform notification and the state change will be reflected in the Content Library.
Workflows
Accelerator360™ has two workflows, depending on whether content is issued directly to a contributor or opened as a Request for Proposals.
Content States
- Draft: a brief has been created but has not been issued to a contributor or been issued as part of a request for proposals.
- Accepting Proposals: a request for proposals has been opened for this assignment and has not passed its proposal due date.
- Awaiting Acceptance: an assignment has been issued to, but not yet claimed, by a contributor.
- Pending: a request for proposals has passed its proposal due date and is closed. The assignment has not yet been awarded to a contributor.
- In Progress: an assignment has been issued and claimed by a contributor. The contributor has not yet submitted the assignment.
- Returned for Revisions: a submitted assignment has been returned to a contributor to complete additional work. Content can be moved into this state when it is In Review.
- Optimizing: content has been added to an Audit and is in the process of being edited and optimized for search.
- In Review: an assignment has been submitted for review.
- Ready for Approval: content has been reviewed and edited but requires final approval before its moves to the Completed state. Content can be moved into this state when it is In Review.
- Late: an assignment claimed by a contributor has passed its due date.
- Completed: content has been approved by a channel user. Content can be moved into this state when it is In Review or in the Ready for Approval state.
- Published: content has been published and is officially live on your site. Content can be moved into this state once it is in the Completed state.
- Cancelled: either a Pending request for proposals for the assignment has been cancelled or an Awaiting Acceptance/In Progress assignment has been rescinded/abandoned (Contributors can take the abandon action, while Reviewers take the rescind action).
