Accelerator360 will email users to notify them of a variety of production updates. Production specific notifications, by default, will be sent to the user who opened the assignment or proposal. You can also configure a Distribution Email List in your channel and have all content production updates sent to a single, shared team email.
Notification Events
Below is a complete list of actions that trigger notifications in Accelerator360 and an explanation of the production state that each action moves content into (if applicable).
Assignment Notifications
- An issued assignment is accepted by a contributor and is moved to the In Progress status.
- An issued assignment is declined by a contributor and is moved back into Draft.
- An issued assignment is rescinded by a channel user and is moved back into Draft.
- An accepted assignment is abandoned by a contributor and is moved back into Draft.
- An accepted assignment’s due date is updated by a channel user.
- An accepted assignment’s due date is approaching. This notification will be sent roughly 24 hours before the set due date.
- An accepted assignment has passed its due date and is moved into the Late status.
- An accepted assignment has been submitted and moved to In Review.
Proposal Notifications
- The due date for a Request for Proposal has closed, moving it into the Pending status.
- A proposal is awarded to a contributor by a channel user and the corresponding assignment is moved into Awaiting Acceptance.
- A contributor declines a request for proposal.
Review Notifications
- An assignment is marked as Approved and is moved into the Completed status.
- An assignment is marked as Ready for Approval and is moved into the Ready for Approval status
- An assignment is marked as Returned for Revisions and is moved to the Returned for Revisions status
- An assignment that had been in the Completed status is moved back to In Review.
Collaborator Notifications
- An external collaborator has marked content as Approved
- An external collaborator has marked content as Unapproved
You will also receive notifications when a new Message has been received from a contributor, regardless of whether content is in the assignment, proposal or review stage of production.
